Baia dei Fiori Beach
Resort
Baia dei Fiori Beach Resort, just 800 metres from Nocera Scala, can easily be reached from
Lamezia International Airport on the main SA3 highway in under 20 minutes drive. The resort occupies an
envious frontline beach front location and forms part of an existing holiday and residential village which is
due to be refurbished as part of the new resort complex. It provides a unique opportunity to purchase a
residential property in a frontline position, as existing planning permission pre-dates the new Italian
planning rules preventing residential complexes being build within 200m of the sea without special
licences.
The new section of the resort is made up approximately 400 properties, providing a balanced
mix of studio’s, apartments and villas. All of the new properties will be arranged over six exquisitely
designed landscaped areas, and will boast stunning sea and landscape views with short stroll to the beach.
The resort will benefit from an excellent array of facilities including a stunning beach front with beach
facilities and services, two on site restaurants, private beach bars, mini market, four separate swimming
pools, children’s play area and a new boat pontoon.

Catanzaro
The Provence of Catanzaro has been the capital of the Calabrian Region since 1970. Catanzaro has a population of
370,000 and is made up of 80 communes or municipal areas. It is the narrowest region of Italy and is only 50km from
coast to coast which is why in the 9th century, the Byzantines who founded the region used it to control the
mountain pass between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas.
Today the region is well known for its fine lace and silk. For centuries the Vatican has
ordered its lace and linens for their priests as well as many of the royal houses. Catanzaro is also a very
important rail junction within Italy, a brand new station has just been opened, as it is the centre of trade
in wheat, oil and wine.
Catanzaro Town rises on a rock and is split into two parts by a steep valley, the two sections
being connected by a huge concrete and steel bridge witch is among the highest in Europe built in 1960. The
beach town Catanzaro lido is located 5km south, has a wide promenade and a harbour for small fishing and
pleasure boats.
